Job Title: General Maintenance
Job Duties: Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives,motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs,as necessary. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills,wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma and with one year experienced as a General Maintenance . Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches. Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. Experience performing routine maintenance. Strong organizational and follow up skills. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Must have basic knowledge of electrical.Must be able to work flexible schedule including early morning hours, weekends and holiday

Comments: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. Selected applicant will work full time with at least 40 hours per week and will be paid 1.5 X the rate specified in excess of 40 hours per week. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge; all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to workers or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
