| Job Title: | REFUSE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTORS |
| Job Duties: | Collect garbage from buildings, business, facilities as per schedule to ensure garbage is removed, transported and dispose of according to set policies and procedure. Collect and dump refuse and recyclable materials from containers into truck then dump at disposable sites. Assist with the operation of the garbage truck and operate all equipment in a safe and effective way in disposing all garbage. Provide manual labor assistance n various task and assignments. May drive truck, following established routes, through residential streets r alleys or through business or industrial areas. Operate automated or semi-automated hoisting devices that raise refuse bins and dump contents into openings in truck bodies. Inspect trucks prior to beginning routes to ensure safe operating condition. Operate equipment that compresses collected refuse |
