| Job Duties: | General food service, including, but not limited to, taking orders, serving prepared food, and clearing tables. Developing sales plan and submitting periodic revenue reports (in prior cooperation with the Finance & Planning Team). Managing daily cash flow; reporting daily sales (daily sales reports) and depositing cash sales. Receipt and management of supplies and facility maintenance. Food and Beverage sales and accounting. Managing outlet supplies inventory and submitting purchase/usage reports. Maintaining the outlet area in a clean and sanitary condition. Maintenance and sales of established menu items (including designating sale prices and reporting status of other facilities and businesses in the same industry). Receiving and resolving guest complaints (in cooperation with the GRO). Developing promotional and marketing plans for increasing revenue (in-house, local market promotional and sales, etc.) and other marketing activities (in prior consultation with the Finance & Planning Team). Preparation and set-up of outlet areas before operations and events and cleaning up after operations and events. Other related food service and banquet duties. Any other duties that may be assigned by the Department Director and/or the General Manager. Evaluating employees under supervision. Developing and implementing education and training schedule (in prior consultation with the Human Resources Team). | Comments: | WORLD CORPORATION dba SAIPAN WORLD RESORT is looking to fill one (1) FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at SAIPAN WORLD RESORT, Susupe, Beach Road, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 10/01/2019 to 09/30/2022. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid no less than $17.23 per hour. Night differential additional fifty cents between 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, depending on weather conditions. Work on weekends may be required. Hourly work schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will not provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will provide on-the-job training.
