Job Title: Off-shore Vessel Diesel Engine Crew
Job Duties: Stand watches on vessels during specified periods while vessels are under way. Assume command of vessels in the event that ships' masters become incapacitated. Steer vessels, using navigational devices, such as compasses or sextants, or navigational aids, such as lighthouses or buoys. Inspect equipment, such as cargo-handling gear, lifesaving equipment, visual-signaling equipment, or fishing, towing, or dredging gear, to detect problems. Observe loading or unloading of cargo or equipment to ensure that handling and storage are performed according to specifications. Participate in activities related to maintenance of vessel security. Arrange for ships to be stocked, fueled, or repaired. Observe water from ships' mastheads to advise on navigational direction. Plan the day's work and activities. Performs any other duties as assigned.

Must be able to adapt to changes in a fast paced, dynamic, and sometimes intense work environment Must have critical thinking- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions(in written, oral or diagram form), short correspondence and memos Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must be able to work outside in heat. Must be able to work during weekends and holidays when needed.
