| Job Duties: | Install, service or repair heating and airconditioning system on residence and commercial establishment. Install and repair industrial or commercial refrigerating system. Test pipe tubing joint or connection for leaks, using pressure guages or soap-water-solution. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical equipment. Adjust valve according to specification and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping specified gas or fluid into the system. Repair or replace defective equipment, component or wiring and reassemble repaired parts. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repair connected malfunctions. Repair or service heating, ventilating and airconditioning (HVAC) system to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling with non toxic refrigerant. |
