| Job Duties: | Take orders & serve foods & beverages to patrons at tables in dining establishment-with knowledge of restaurant dishes & familiarity of the entire menu the restaurant offers. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals & take action to correct any problems. Check patrons identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Collect payments from customers. Write patrons' food orders on orders slips, memorize orders, transmit orders to kitchen staff. Answering questions from customers about food & beverages, clean & set the tables, stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, foods, table wares. |
