| Job Duties: | •Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul automotive vehicles. •Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. •Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems o repair, maintain and upgrade.•Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.•Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorist on good vehicle use. •Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts issues (e.g. leaks).•Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.•Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.•Verifies vehicle service ability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.•Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.•Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; trouble shooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Proven experience as auto mechanic with at least 2 years of work experience with no minimum education required. As long as applicant have excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles. Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift). Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition. Able to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays. |

| Comments: | S.T.A.R. MARIANAS, INC. dba S.T.a.R. WATER is looking to fill one (1) Automotive Mechanic (Automotive Specialty Technician) position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at S.T.a.R. WATER, I-Liyang Street, Beach Road, South Garapan. This is a Full-Time, temporary position and we are looking to fill this job opening for employment from 10/01/2019 to 09/30/2020. Terms and Conditions of Employment: Workers will be paid no less than $8.02 per hour. Overtime will be available to the worker and will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week depending on weather conditions. Each working day will be given 5(minimum) to 8 (maximum) regular hours depending on the weekly schedule. Work on weekends maybe required. The frequency with which the workers will be paid is Bi-Weekly through check. All taxes applicable by law will be deducted to paycheck. Daily transportation to and from the workplace will not be provided. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned will be provided to workers without charge. Board, lodging, or other facilities will not be offered to workers. If the workers complete 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the workers transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay the workers reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported as workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment will be equal to the most economical and reasonable carrier for the distance involved. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equals to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. |
