Job Duties: Inspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh nonagricultural raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment. Tasks include: Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications; Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers; Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required; Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded and Mark items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status.

Qualification Requirements: 12 months of experience as a Quality Inspector is required. Minimum ASNT, Level II in Radiographic Testing (RT), MPI, VT Extensive knowledge and experience with IACS rules, CAP and CAS requirements is preferred.

Comments: ENDEAVOUR INSPECTION SERVICES, LLC is looking to fill one (1) QUALITY INSPECTOR position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at Endeavour Inspection Services, LLC, Unit #19, Navy Hill, Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands and within the CNMI. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 10/01/2019 to 09/30/2020. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid no less than $9.00 per hour. Overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, depending on weather conditions. Work on weekends may be required. Travel within the CNMI is required. Hourly work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation: The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will provide on-the-job training.
