Job Title: Accounting Supervisor
Job Duties: Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences. Prepare adjusting journal entries. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Maintain or examine the records of government agencies. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Advise clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans. Represent clients before taxing authorities and provide support during litigation involving financial issues. Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities. Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property. Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

Qualification Requirements: Skilled in the use of various operating systems and project management software: SAP Business Objects Data Integrator, MS Software, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems. Using mathematics to solve problems. Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Talking to others to convey information effectively.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
