| Job Duties: | TRAIN AND SUPERVISE WORKERS IN FOOD PREPARATION, AND IN SERVICE, SANITATION, AND SAFETY PROCEDURES. SUPERVISE AND PARTICIPATE IN KITCHEN AND DINING AREA CLEANING ACTIVITIES. ESTIMATE INGREDIENTS AND SUPPLIES REQUIRED TO PREPARE A RECIPE. RESOLVE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS REGARDING FOOD SERVICE. CONTROL INVENTORIES OF FOOD, EQUIPMENT, AND SMALL WARE AND REPORT SHORTAGES TO DESIGNATED PERSONNEL. PURCHASE OR REQUISITION SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO ENSURE QUALITY AND TIMELY DELIVERY OF SERVICES. OBSERVE AND EVALUATE WORKERS AND WORK PROCEDURES TO ENSURE QUALITY STANDARDS AND SERVICE, AND COMPLETED DISCIPLINARY WRITE-UPS. SPECIFY FOOD PORTIONS AND COURSES, PRODUCTION AND TIME SEQUENCE, AND WORK STATIONS AND EQUIPMENT ARRANGEMENTS. ASSIGN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND WORK STATIONS TO EMPLOYEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH WORK REQUIREMENTS. ANALYZE OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS, SUCH AS THEFT AND WASTAGE, AND ESTABLISH PROCEDURES TO ALLEVIATE THESE PROBLEMS. PERFORM PERSONNEL ACTIONS, SUCH AS PROVIDING EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION AND TRAINING, AND CONDUCTING SUPERVISORY ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS CREATING WORK SCHEDULES OR ORGANIZING EMPLOYEE TIME SHEETS. | Qualification Requirements: | MUST BE AT LEAST HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE WITH A MINIMUM OF 36 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AS A FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON AN EARLY MORNING SHIFT OF 5:00 AM TO 1:00 PM FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. PREFERABLY WITH ONLINE TRAINING CERTIFICATE FOR JOB-RELATED COURSES SUCH AS FOOD SAFETY OF AT LEAST 8 HOURS PER YEAR. APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AT LEAST 45 LBS. PREVIOUS WORK-RELATED SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE IN FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR IS NEEDED. MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO HELP OTHERS. MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE ON THE FOLLOWING: KNOWLEDGE OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES INVOLVED IN STRATEGIC PLANNING, RESOURCE ALLOCATION, HUMAN RESOURCE MODELING, LEADERSHIP TECHNIQUE, PRODUCTION METHODS, AND COORDINATION OF PEOPLE AND RESOURCES. PERSONNEL AND HUMAN RESOURCES: KNOWLEDGE OF PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES FOR PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT, SELECTION, TRAINING, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS, LABOR RELATIONS AND NEGOTIATION, AND PERSONNEL INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
