Job Title: Merchandise Displayers
Job Duties: Plan commercial displays to entice and appeal to customers. Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, or other accessories, as shown in prepared sketches. Change or rotate window displays, interior display areas, or signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion. Place prices or descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floor. Maintain props or products, inspecting them for imperfections, doing touch-ups, cleaning up after customers, or applying preservative coatings as necessary. Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations. Assemble or set up displays, furniture, or products in store space while utilizing colors, lights, pictures, or other accessories to display the product. Construct or assemble displays or display components from fabric, glass, paper, or plastic, using hand tools or woodworking power tools, according to specifications. Store, pack, and maintain inventory records of props, products, or display items. Use computers to produce signage. Instruct sales staff in color coordination of clothing racks or counter displays. Does other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma/GED required. Previous work experience in retail preferred. Strong organizational and decision making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Commercial awareness. Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must take a skilled test during application process. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays on short notice.

Comments: The place of employment will be at Garapan, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
