Job Title: Massage Therapist
Job Duties: Provides excellent and consistent level of customer service to each guest. Performs professional massage therapy, body treatment, facials; while keeping in line with Hyatt standards. Performs treatment in a professional manner to each client within a safe environment. Provides uncompromised attention to every guest and member. Well versed with the Spa Departmental Operations Manual. To ensure the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all time. To ensure to effective coverage of both receptions. To maintain inventory of supplies for professional products. To maintain the Daily Therapist Log Sheet Record. To ensure Spa service standards are in accordance with the Operations Manual. To ensure the delivery of brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times. Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance. Confer with clients about their medical histories and problems with stress or pain to determine how massage will be most helpful. Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body. Maintain treatment records. Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion. To ensure to conduct professional relaxation massages and treatments, conduct consultation sheets for guests, administrate questionnaires to receive feedback from guests. To ensure to handle basic Essential oils (Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Rose, Rosemary, Rosewood, Mandarin, and Lemon), handle basic blending of essential oils, basic flower arrangements, use pre-blended oils to correlate with guest needs, perform facials on guests using safe and professional techniques, perform body treatment in a safe, comfortable, and hygienic manner. To ensure to maintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all facials and services, including skin care products and other necessary supplies and keeps them in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work area. Oral Comprehension: The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Dynamic Strength: The ability to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time. This involves muscular endurance and resistance to muscle fatigue. Manual Dexterity: The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Oral Expression: The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Trunk Strength: The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
