Job Title: Front Desk Clerk
Job Duties: Welcomes guest, prepares and completes check-ins and checkouts, posts and balances daily charges and provides information as requested. Ensures that the guest are looked after to the best of our abilities and fulfills their dream vacation. Perform all the operations of the front desk. Coordinate and perform the other front office area functions of PBX and Guest Services, Room Reservations. Provide information and assistance to guest on all PIC facilities, rates, activities, promotions and services as well as island wide entertainment and dining. Immediately provide necessary action in the event of an emergency; including giving First Aid, making phone calls and follow ups. Control the keys issued and received by the guest and staff at the front desk by signing in and signing out procedures. Perform telephone courtesy at optimum hotel standards. Prepare, accept and coordinate guest registration, check in and out guests accurately and quickly. Assist and cooperate with wholesalers (Tour Agents). Perform communication/secretarial services; such as faxing, photocopying and e-mail as required by the guest. Discuss the problems/complaints during the shift with the supervisor for problem solving action. Handle with care all valuables; such as safe deposit boxes, guest room keys, staff room keys and lost & found items. Maintain limited stocks of necessary supplies and advise supervisor or manager when supplies need to be ordered. Post charges and settlement with 100% accuracy, and then balance those charges in preparation for the night audit. Strictly control/monitor and issue meal coupons, promotional coupon and other promotional items. Review the guest ledgers for high balances, late charges, or other irregularities and inform supervisor or manager of problems. Provide money exchanges for in-house guests or hotels outlets as needed. Print out reports as needed for front office and other departments. Coordinate with Guest Services and Operators to ensure on time airport transfers and wake up calls are provided. Report any type of incidents, complaints, missing items and valuables to security and Management. Follow up through on guests inquires and requests. Maintain professional appearance and keep work area clean and tidy as well as posture and interaction with all customers. Perform other related duties as determined by Management.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year work experience, preferably in hospitality. Previous cashiering experience required. High School or College degree is required. Must be able to write, read, and speak fluently in Chinese and English. Must be able to work evenings, graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.
