| Job Duties: | RECEIVE AND COUNT STOCK ITEMS, AND RECORD DATA MANUALLY OR USING COMPUTER. PACK AND UNPACK ITEMS TO BE STOCKED ON SHELVES IN STOCKROOMS, WAREHOUSES, OR STORAGE YARD. VERIFY INVENTORY COMPUTATIONS BY COMPARING THEM TO PHYSICAL COUNTS OF STOCK, INVESTIGATE DISCREPANCIES OR ADJUST ERRORS. STORE ITEMS IN AN ORDERLY AND ACCESSIBLE MANNER IN WAREHOUSES, TOOL ROOMS, SUPPLY ROOMS, OR OTHER AREAS. MARK STOCK ITEMS. CLEAN AND MAINTAIN SUPPLIES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND STORAGE AREAS IN ORDER TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH SAFETY REGULATIONS. DETERMINE PROPER STORAGE METHODS, IDENTIFICATION, AND STOCK LOCATION BASED ON TURNOVER, ENVIRONMENT FACTORS, AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES OF FACILITIES. KEEP RECORDS ON THE USE AND/OR DAMAGE OF STOCK OR STOCK HANDLING EQUIPMENT. EXAMINE AND INSPECT STOCK ITEMS FOR WEAR OR DEFECTS, REPORTING ANY DAMAGE TO SUPERVISORS. DISPOSE DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS OR RETURN THEM TO VENDORS. DRIVE TRUCKS IN ORDER TO PICK UP EMERGENCY STOCK NEEDS AND DELIVER SUPPLIES TO DESIGNATED LOCATIONS. PREPARE AND MAINTAIN RECORDS AND REPORTS OF INVENTORIES, SHORTAGES, SHIPMENTS, AND GOODS USED OR ISSUED. ISSUE OR DISTRIBUTE MATERIAL, PRODUCTS, PARTS, AND SUPPLIES TO COWORKERS, BASED ON INFORMATION FROM INCOMING REQUISITIONS. ADVISE COWORKERS ON THE APPROPRIATENESS OF PARTS, SUPPLIES, OR MATERIALS REQUESTED. COMPILE, REVIEW, AND MAINTAIN DATA FROM DELIVERY RECEIPTS, REQUISITIONS, AND OTHER DOCUMENTS TO ASSESS SUPPLY NEEDS. CONFER WITH PURCHASING PERSONNEL AND VENDORS REGARDING STOCK PROCUREMENT AND AVAILABILITY. DETERMINE SEQUENCE AND RELEASE OF STOCKS ACCORDING TO STOCKS AVAILABILITY. RECOMMEND DISPOSAL OF EXCESS, DEFECTIVE AND/OR OBSOLETE STOCKS. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must be at least High School Graduate and with a minimum of 12 months experience as Stock-Warehouse Clerk. Must be able to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(1 hour lunch break) from Monday to Friday. Experience in a School Food Service Company is a plus. Must have knowledge of business involving strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources. Must have knowledge on raw materials, production process, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective ordering, storing, production, and distribution of goods. Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure and systems such as managing files and records. Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written skills required. Lifting of containers, minimum of 50 lbs. is required most of the time. |
