Job Title: Maintenance and Repair Workers, General
Job Duties: Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hand tools or power tools. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them. checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saw, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electrical testing device. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery or equipment. Adjust functional parts or devices or control instruments, using hand tolls, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers. Plan and layout repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Assemble boilers at installation sites, using tools such as levels, plumb bobs, hammers torches or other hand tools. Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures. Position, attach or blow insulating materials to prevent energy losses from buildings, pipes, or other structures of objects. Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures. Grind and reseat valves, using valve-grinding machines.

Qualification Requirements: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tolls involved in the repair of buildings. Must be honest and being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. Must be reliable, responsible, dependent, fulfilling obligations and can work on flexible time. Have a valid drivers license. Minimum of 24 months of work experience.

Fringe Benefits: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the firs workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expirations date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
