Job Title: Facility Manager
Job Duties: *Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. *Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. *Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. *Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. *Maintain or repair specialized equipment or machinery located in cafeterias, bakeries, stores, or offices. *Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. *Clean of lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. *Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. *Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers. *Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. *Perform general cleaning duties of building or properties. *Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. *Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. *Align or balance new equipment upon installation. *Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings.

Qualification Requirements: *2+ years' general maintenance experience in repairing buildings, bakery equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems. *6 months training required. *Skill in general custodial and facility cleaning duties. *Skills and knowledge in routine bakery & machinery's and vehicle maintenance. *Effective interpersonal and written communication skills. *Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively. *Excellent organization and prioritization skills. *Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). *Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. *Must obtain Food Handlers certification from CNMI Department of Public Health. * Must obtain a Tuberculosis clearance certificate. *Must maintain good personal hygiene.

Comments: EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position beginning October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2020. WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment of at least thirty-five (35) hours per week. Employees hired must be able to work nights, weekends and/or holidays as required. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. The employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties. RECRUITMENT INFORMATION.
