Job Title: Cargo & Freight Agent
Job Duties: Coordinate the activities of ground crew in the loading, unloading, securing, and staging of aircraft cargo or baggage. May determine the quantity and orientation of cargo and compute aircraft center of gravity. May accompany aircraft as member of flight crew and monitor and handle cargo in flight, and assist and brief passengers on safety and emergency procedures. Includes loadmasters. Must know areas such as safety procedures and equipment operation. Distribute cargo in such manner that space is used is maximized. Calculate load weights aircraft compartments using charts and computers. Expertise in aircraft security & Safety & Grow. Expedite a Route movement of incoming & outgoing cargo & freight shipment in the airline. Take orders from customers and arrange freight and cargo for loading platform. Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping charges. Lifting baggages boxes or cargo weighing up to 70lbs when loading/unloading aircraft carts and containers. Loading/unloading may require 100 items for a single aircraft. Stand for up to 4 hours in all weather conditions to upload or upload cargo and direct traffic. Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags and cargo labels. Ensures compliance with ACA and (FAA) Federal Aviation Administration Regulations and policies.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
