| Comments: | Saipan Dolphin Corporation is looking to fill Two (2) General Maintenance Workers position in Saipan, CNMI. The work will be performonly at SAiapn Dolphin Corporation at Chalan Monsignor Guerrero Street San Jose Saipan, MP 96950. This job opportunity id temporary, full time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020.Job Description: Performs works involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve a pipe fitting, broiler making, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment, and repairing buildings, floors and stairs. Terms and Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid $8.11 per hour, 35 hours per work week, bi-weekly and payable by check. Overtime is available and will be paid $12.17 per hour. Hourly schedule is from 1 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday to Saturday and Tuesday is Off-day. Employer will deduct all applicable deductions required by law. Three Fourths Guarantee (20 CFR 655.423(f)): The Employer must guarantee to offer the worker employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the work days of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need whichever is later, and ending on teh expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence (20 CFR 655.423 (j)(1)): The Employer must provide or reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US, including another part of the Commonwealth, or abroad, to the place of employment if the worker completes 50 percent of the period of employment covered by the work contract. The Employer may arrange and pay for the transportation and subsistence directly, advance at a minimum the most economical and reasonable common carrier cost of the transportation and subsistence to the worker's departure or pay the worker for the reasonable cost incurred by the worker. The amount of the transportation payment must be no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation involved. Daily Transportation to and from worksite will not be provided. On-the-Job Training: The Employer will not provide on-the-job training. Tools and Equipment: The Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, equipment and supplies required to perform the job. Board, Lodging or Other Facilities: The Employer will not provide board, lodging or other facilities but may help find a place to stay during the whole employment contract.
