| Job Duties: | Your duties and responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following: install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning equipment throughout the school campus and the dormitories. You will install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioner. You will ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously. You will perform regular maintenance work on cooling units. Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions. Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged. Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls. Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment. Inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems. Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors. You may perform other duties that are customarily performed in the maintenance department of the school. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Skills: The successful candidate should be able to work in places where they are exposed to dust, fumes, noise, toxic materials and high voltage equipment. He should also be capable of working in confined and hot spaces like roofs, crawl ways and attics. He may also have to work in adverse weather and may be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel or stand for long stretches of time. Knowledge: The successful candidate for airconditioning technician must at least have a high school diploma or GED. Possess training from vocational or technical schools. Must have certification through programs approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He should know the principles of air-conditioning unit repair and maintenance, including controls, MSDS sheets, safety practices and procedures and tools used. He should be able to read and interpret building regulations and codes implemented by city, state and federal government agencies pertaining to installing air-conditioning units. |

| Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on September 30, 2019 to September 29, 2020 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Worker will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
