| Job Title: | Heavy Equipment Mechanic |
| Job Duties: | Operate, inspect & repair machines and heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment. Must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures. Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks. Clean and do routine maintenance of heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required. Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored. Do other related duties as assigned from time to time |

Must be physically fit to be able to handle strenuous work. Willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends. Hardworking, can work under less supervision and must be able to meet work deadlines. Must be able to secure CNMI Driver’s License |
