| Job Duties: | Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, such as cranes, bulldozers, graders, and conveyors, used in construction, logging, and surface mining. Task includes: Repair and replace damaged or worn parts; test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects; read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings; and dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. |

| Comments: | Pacific Rim Land Development, LLC dba Pacific Rim Constructors is looking to fill one (1) Heavy Equipment Mechanic position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at Marianas Business Plaza, 4th Floor, Suite 409, Northern Mariana Islands. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 10/01/2019 to 09/30/2022. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid no less than $8.14 per hour. Overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, depending on weather conditions. Work on weekends may be required. Hourly work schedule is 7:00a.m to 4:00p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will not provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will not provide on-the-job training.
