| Job Title: | Cement Mason and Concrete Finisher |
| Job Duties: | Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a var iety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints. Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, and waterproof or restore surface. Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed. Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry, using hoe, trowel, tamper, scraper, or concrete-mixing machine. Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them. Repairs, maintains and alters buildings, retaining walls and other brick or stone edifices. Mixes mortar; lays bricks and stones and/or concrete sidewalks; makes and repairs steps. Patches and/or replaces brick. Installs and repairs tile floors and/or walls. Plasters ceilings and/or walls. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have a knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads. EMPLOYEE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK AT PROJECT JOBSITES IN SAIPAN AS EMPLOYER MAY REASONABLY REQUIRE. EMPLOYEE MAY BE REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE SOME TRAVEL TO OTHER JOBSITES WITHIN THE NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS. |
