| Job Duties: | The Clubmate is the image of PIC. The Clubmate is positive, courteous, friendly, energetic, organized, entertaining and helpful. In busy season, Clubmates occasionally may work up to 60 hours per week. Must be able to participate in and/or instruct a variety of sports offered at PIC including windsurfing, archery, tennis, golf, and snorkeling. Must be able to show enthusiasm and implement various activities to entertain the guests. Must be willing to assist or participate in nightly shows and activities. Must perform minor maintenance, construction and cleaning necessary to ensure an aesthetic PIC. Must be able to fulfill the various responsibilities required to work in a number of areas within SEA. The following are the SEA duty areas: Riverpark: The Riverpark contains the newest additions to our property. Locker rooms, Pool Bar, Lap Pool, Swirl pool, Fountains and 40 ft. waterfalls are all present in the jungle atmosphere of the Riverpark. The main attraction is Point Break, two Flowrider wave machines set side by side. This area requires numerous lifeguards and staff for competitions and activities. Exiting Point Break is a high volume flume that shoots riders into a ¼ mile lazy river that encompasses all of the features in the Riverpark. Needless to say The PIC Riverpark is the only one of it’s kind in Saipan as well as in the region. Waterpark: The Waterpark is where our pools, waterslides, H2O basketball, H2O volleyball, H2O polo, SCUBA lessons, gameroom and water aerobics are located. When assigned to the Waterpark, the main concern is safety. Maintaining an active, but safe waterpark is of supreme importance. Clubmates are required to act as lifeguards as well as implement games and activities to keep the waterpark as active and fun as possible. Beach Center: The Beach center is always a very active spot at PIC. Clubmates must work as a team to set up, operate and close this area.The Beach Center offers guest windsurfing, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, beach volleyball, beach games, badminton, horseshoes and mini-golf. Tennis Center: Clubmates are required to instruct guests in beginner, intermediate, advanced and children lessons in addition to use the auto-tennis machines, take court reservations, issue tennis equipment and implement activities planned for the tennis shack. Clubmates are required to issue rollerblades and hand out the proper pads. Information Counter:The information shack attendant must be prepared to answer specific questions and to offer unsolicited information and suggestions as to what guests can enjoy. It is the responsibility of the information attendant to sell Waterpark passes and distribute towels and keys for the locker room. Archery Area:The Clubmate must first be taught how to teach archery before “soloing” at this area. Lessons and contests are offered throughout the day. Activities: The Clubmate is required to entertain the guests through a variety of activities in which the only limitation is the mind. Shows: The Clubmate is required to perform or assist in the production of the nightly shows. Learning to use the sound and lighting equipment for the disco may be required. Training will be provided before the use of any technical equipment. Our shows demand a wide range of talent levels, from the experienced stage performer (singer or dancer), to those who have never been on stage before. Kids Club: The Clubmate is required to engage in a host of activities designed for children. Arts and crafts, movies, tennis lessons, baking, and rollerblading are just a few of the many activities offered just for kids. Performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must pass all American Red Cross Lifeguard requirements (including a 300 yard continuous swim test). Sports-minded individuals are encouraged to apply. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Paid training and free two year lifeguard certification course for eligible candidates. Must be able to write, read, and speak fluently in Chinese and English. Must be able to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. |
