| Job Title: | Laundry Supervisor - Guest Laundry |
| Job Duties: | Supervisor is responsible to ensure proper drying process for each item and testing of clothes for possible discoloration. Carefully check the texture of materials to prevent damage and taking out stain manually by using soap, detergents and chemicals. Assign work schedule for each staff and ensure quality and timely delivery of service of each area of responsibility (Walk up Services & Guests Laundry) i.e.,, washing, spotting, dry cleaning, ironing, drying, tagging and invoicing. Inspect work areas and operating equipment and responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of operational equipment. Supervise the segregation of dirty clothes from hotel pickup and customer drop off, ensures that sorting of clothing, costumes and wedding gowns are placed into appropriate washing and drying treatments, ironing and tagging each laundry item. Also responsible to identify and treat items dry cleaning and washing (machine or hand washing). Must be able to operate all dry cleaning equipment and commercial washing machines from Japan Tosen Brand. Instruct guest laundry staff for proper and smooth operation to prevent delay and to produce good quality services. Prepare invoices for each hotel as well as walkup customers using Peachtree Accounting. Supervisor is also responsible to maintain good communications with clients and customers and explain reason/purpose for selected treatment. Responsible for training workers in proper operational procedures and functions, and explain company policies. Analyze and record personnel and operational data report for management purposes. Perform other tasks assigned by the General Manager. |
