| Job Duties: | Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered and guidelines such as those for special diets are followed. clean and sanitized dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment and facilities. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Carry food supplies, equipment and utensils to and from storage and work areas. Examine trays to ensure that they contained required items. Place food servings on plates or trays according instructions. Prepare a variety of food such as meat, vegetables and desserts according to supervisor's instructions following approve procedures. Wash, peals, and cuts various food such as fruits, vegetables to prepare for cooking. Perform other duties as required and needed. |
