| Job Duties: | Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meal are delivered and guidelines such as those for special diets are followed. Clean and sanitized dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment and facilities. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Carry food supplies, equipment and utensils to and from storage and work areas. Examines trays to ensure that they contain required items. Place food servings on plates or trays according to instructions. Prepare a variety of foods such as meats, vegetables, or desserts, according to supervisors instructions, following approved procedures. Wash, peals, and cut various foods such as fruits and vegetables to prepare for cooking. Perform other duties as assigned. |
