Job Title: Technician - Operations
Job Duties: • Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines, provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance • Service technicians perform many tasks that require steady hands and good hand-eye coordination, such as assembling or attaching components and subassemblies, keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters. • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage, verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. • Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards, maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting, maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs. • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs, contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options, keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications, accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed, maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition. • Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Two years or above of technical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles • High School Diploma or G.E.D., courses in automotive repair or electronics is preferred • ASE certified is preferred. • Familiar with electronic control systems, engine components and systems • Aware of small details when inspecting or repairing vehicle systems • Current and valid commercial driver's license (CDL) • Able to work on shifts and be flexible regarding work schedules according to business demands • Able to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.
