| Job Duties: | Prepare and cook food for hotel customers and guests and staffs or employees; Observe sanitation practices to ensure that hotel standards and regulations are met and also with co-workers. Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. Estimate the amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients to ensure budget is met. Coordinate with other cooks or with other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food. Inspect and conduct inventories of food supplies, tools and equipment, including work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. To make order or requisition food or other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation. Determine production schedules with the Chef necessary to ensure timely delivery of services. Check the quantity and quality of received products. Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays. |
