| Job Duties: | Summary/Objective The primary function of a window installer will be to receive/unload windows from vendor trucks, load the truck for daily delivery/install and install the windows into the rough framing. Identify any issues with rough framing or window quality that would affect installation and or performance of the windows and report any defective items to the appropriate people Job Duties: •Installs door and window, window sashes, china closets and other partitions. in millwork products: Places door or sash on worktable and inserts precut wood/glass in opening, or inserts wood/glass as products pass on conveyor, using either of following methods: Inserts precut molding into window opening around edges of wood/glass and taps molding against wood/glass edges, using hammer and wood block. •Tacks molding to frame, using hammer or staple gun. •Fastens wood/glass into door/window opening, driving worker's points into frame over glass, using point-driving tool. •Presses and smooths putty into angle formed by glass and wood to make joint watertight, using putty knife. •May spread sealing compound around edges of opening before inserting wood/glass, using air gun or knife. •May fit framed wood/glass into openings in doors and screw frame to door, using screwdriver. •May cut wood/glass. •May be designated according to a wood/glass installed as Door/Glass Installer; Door and Window Assembler. |

| Qualification Requirements: | •High School diploma or equivalent of 12 ~24 months of related experience preferred •Able to report to work on time for your scheduled start time •Able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment •May erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level •Be able to review construction plans for proper placement of windows JOB DESCRIPTION •Able to work on daily use of hand and power tools •Must Comfortable on a ladder extending to heights reaching 30’ and/or building roofs • Window repair of parts (includes replacing door and windows). •Maintain a professional positive attitude. •Proficiency with specialized tools and equipment; customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills •Be able to work outside year-round and in all weather conditions • Willing to go through certification training when necessary |
