| Job Duties: | • Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food; • Interact with internal staff and external guests from Asian and international countries. • Select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality; • Establish presentation technique and quality standards; • Plan and price menus; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; • Ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen. • May oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques. • Executive assistant chef supervises kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. • Reports to the food service director and executive chef. • To Implement standardized systems, operational tools or audits • Implement operational strategies to ensure quality and productivity. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field, or a combination of education and experience. • Three (3) to five (5) experience as a chef including at least one or two (2) years in supervisory capacity or a combination of education and experience in (Chinese cuisine) with noodle specialization compulsory. • A few months of managerial experience of culinary operation in Casino/VIP Junket is preferred • Pre-opening experience is an advantage. • Ability to communicate in English to deal with guests and internal staff from Asian and International countries, knowledge of Chinese is an advantage. • Ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the facility, the brand and the Company. • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency. • Skilled in problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training. • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task. |
