| Job Title: | Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage |
| Job Duties: | • Prepare and carry out food and beverage service to guest in a courteous and efficient manner. This includes offering table service to guest, regularly checking the floor; this includes all lounges, kitchen, and bar. This will also include preparing and delivering room service trays as required • Knowledge in bartending and serving; mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, wines, spirits, and other drinks for guests • Assist the manager in keeping up with the stock par-levels • Assist in handling all complaints in a professional and courteous manner and to provide appropriate solutions and communicate these occurrences to the manager • To ensure that all food and beverage items served meet all qualities and standards • To display professional salesmanship and positive sales techniques • To ensure the proper care and security of guest items, hotel equipment, stock, furniture and fixtures, reporting malfunction or theft to the manager • To assist in keeping operating costs to a minimum by efficient and responsible use of the company’s resources • To comply with all company policies and statutory requirements regarding the work place such as employment law, health and safety, hygiene, fire prevention, etc. • Assisting in ensuring all staff is properly trained on quality and service standards • Supervise cash handling and banking procedures and prepare banking and cash flow reports • Works in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget • Perform other related duties as assigned |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with guests and employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the facility, the brand, and the Company • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handlers card as required by local government policy • Excellent product knowledge of International cuisines and beverages • Skilled in problem solving and training • Be able to speak, read, and write in English • Preferably speak, read, and write in Mandarin • Be computer and POS software literate • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to lift and carry up to (50) pounds at a time • Ability to work in an environment where pipe, cigar, and cigarette smoking is permitted • Ability to multi-task, function independently, and work well under pressure • Ability to work a flexible schedule • Degree in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Preferable 3 years or more F&B experience in a five (5) star hotel environment or well-known property and 2 years in a supervisory role |
