Job Title: Fixed Assets Manager
Job Duties: • Leadership of the Fixed Asset team in organizing and prioritizing ongoing work and ad hoc projects. • Thorough review, analysis and/or observation of Fixed Asset transactions to ensure that assets/CIP are recorded accurately, consistently, and, in a manner compliant with company policy and regulatory authority. • Review and approve all additions, disposals, depreciation, and accruals. • Ensure closing of Fixed Assets has been done correctly and all new additions are placed in the correct major/minor categories. • Prepare month end reports and schedules of Fixed Assets and CIP (Construction in Progress) for management’s review. • Evaluate company policy and procedures related to fixed assets for operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance recommending changes where appropriate. • Represent the Fixed Assets department in meetings with other departments and interface with internal and external auditors where required. • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever conducting business on behalf of the Company. • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. • Responsible for ensuring all Fixed Assets are tagged properly. • Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline and five or more years of progressively complex experience in finance/accounting • One to two years supervisory/managerial experience in finance/accounting. • Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education. • Must demonstrate a detailed application of industry and government finance/accounting management principles and practices as well as comprehensive finance/accounting leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones. • Must be able to resolve complex management and finance/accounting problems. • Seeking strong knowledge of accounting guidelines (GAAP) associated with fixed assets. • Seeking prior leadership role in defining capitalization policy and asset classification guidelines, assigning depreciation methods, and establishing useful life and residual value. • Seeking experience in executing controls over fixed assets including accounting for physical existence, determination of asset status and optimization of asset utilization. • Seeking strong systems and reporting ability. • Leadership role in fixed asset accounting/controls preferred. • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task.
