| Job Duties: | Cut, trim, or prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for use or sale in retail establishments.Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat. Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper’s eye. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Cuts, trims, bones, ties, and grinds meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, using butcher’s cutlery and powered equipment such as electric grinder and meat cutter to portion and prepare meat in cooking form. Maintains cleanliness of the butcher area. Also, helps in displaying other stocks/items in the shelves, cleaning the retail store area, and packing customers orders. Perform other duties as may be required from time to time by the employer. |

| Qualification Requirements: | At least a few months to one year of experience. Dependable, hard working can work flexible hours such as weekends and late hours, able to follow directions well and can work under pressure. Must possess Food Handler's certificate.Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and harvesting food products (both plant and animal) for consumption, including storage/handling techniques. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
