Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by telephone. Making appointments to meet new and existing customers. Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments. Meeting sales targets. promoting new products and any special deals. Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service. Recording orders and sending details to the sales office. Understanding your customers’ needs. Ability to meet monthly sales goals. |
