| Job Duties: | • Oversee and ensure Laundry & Linen Department is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement and adhere to Hotel’s policy and procedure • Ensure the level of service standards and cleanliness of laundry and linen products to meet the set standard of the company • Prepare monthly forecasts and maintain accurate revenue and expense figures to ensure correct forecasting. Forecast monthly and ensure the expense is under control based on the revenue • Review daily & monthly production reports, as well as department productivity program and ensure goals are met • Assist in developing and maintaining written policy and procedures for Laundry & Linen and activities with other related units • Responsible for proper running of equipment and proper amounts of chemicals. Ensure that established infection control and universal precaution practices are followed in the Laundry & Linen • Make rounds and inspections to ensure that laundry personnel are performing required duties, appropriate laundry procedures are being rendered, and quality control measures are continually maintained • Ensure that equipment in Laundry & Linen is always in proper working condition • Ensure safe working habits and correct storage of chemicals • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene & safety standards of all machines and equipment • Ensure employees adhere to all security procedures and practices and follow grooming standards • Ensure employees comply and have a complete understanding of the rules regulations • Effectively communicate guiding principles and core values to all levels of employees • Coordinate and monitor the preparation of department operating expenses • Create department training plans and write operating procedures for Laundry & Linen • Supervise, direct and lead the team to achieve department goals • Conduct daily briefing, meetings, and disseminate Company information to the team • Hire, train, supervise, and manage Laundry & Linen employees • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors • To Implement standardized systems, operational tools or execute audits • Implement operational strategies to ensure quality and productivity. • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. • Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Must have 7 years’ management level experience in Laundry and Linen operations in a 5 star luxury hotel / • High School graduate or above • Equivalent professional training is preferred • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills • Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets • Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faced projects and of working under pressure • Proactive and innovative problem solver • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment. • Able to multi-task. |
