Job Title: PRODUCTION SPECIALIST
Job Duties: Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations. Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. Hire, train, evaluate, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances. Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
