| Job Duties: | Repair and maintain diesel engines used to power equipment such as portable saws, lawn mowers, generators, compressors and related equipments using hand tools and power tools. Reassemble engines after repair of maintenance work is complete. Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and oiling parts, honing cylinders, tuning ignition systems, generator engine overhaul, electrical control panel and digital voltage regulator setting. Test and inspect engines to determine malfunction, to locate missing and broken parts, and to verify repairs using diagnostic instruments. Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, and peerform related duties. |
