Job Title: | Head Coach |
Job Duties: | 1. Coach, train and prepare national team players for international competitions. 2. Introduce and demonstrate up to date training methods and playing techniques to players and then plan, organize, and conduct training and practice session 3. Scout and observe players from all levels to evaluate players’ strengths and weaknesses, to recommend the level at which players can train or players, and to identify and recruit potential athletes. 4. Plan and direct physical conditioning programs that will enable athletes to achieve maximum performance. 5. Provide training direction and develop methods to encourage and motivate players for games and competitions. 6. Adjust coaching techniques, based on the strengths and weaknesses of athletes. 7. Instruct individuals or groups in sports rules, game strategies, and performance principles. 8. Keep records of athletes, teams and opposing teams’ performance and analyze the strength and weaknesses of opposing teams to develop game strategies. 9. Take the lead for developing a multi-year strategic plan for NMIFA. 10. Plan, organize, and make arrangements for training camps of various national teams within the NMI and other international venues. |

Qualification Requirements: | 1. Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education or related major 2. With 2 to 10 years minimum international coaching experience or with 5 years minimum international coaching experience plus a coaching instructor certificate. Resume' must reflect the experience required and references will be verified. 3. At a minimum, applicant must be a Class B-Licensed Coach in soccer under an AFC or other equivalent international licensing program. 4. Must have extensive experience in soccer sports development including development programs of youth, men and women national players. 5. Can work flexible hours and available on weekends, holidays and weeknights. 6. Must have international coaching experience at the national level. 7. Can communicate effectively in English. Understanding and speaking other Asian languages is a plus. 8. Familiarity with EAFF and AFC organized programs and competitions will be highly considered. |
