| Job Duties: | Develops program for young children in the daycare. Talk with parents about behavioral ups and downs. Develop activities to stimulate children. Establish policies and procedures for inside and outside the classroom. Become familiar with emergency procedures and protocol. Provide weekly schedules for children and parents. Supervise children at all times. Integrate special needs for children in respectful manner. Create arts and crafts for children. Discuss children's development with parents. Identify problem and convene with professional if necessary. Promote literacy and early education. Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self concepts. Keeps records of individual children including daily observations and information about activities. Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Perform administrative tasks such as taking attendance, editing internal paper works, and making telephone call. Help assist children in homework and school work. Provide care for mentally disturbed, delinquent or handicapped children. |
