| Job Duties: | Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfects instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedure. Record treatment information in patient records. Expose dental diagnostic x-rays. Take and record medical and dental histories. Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies. Create a model of patients mouths by pouring plaster into a dental impression and allowing plaster to set. Test appliances for conformance to specifications and accuracy of occlusion, using articulators and micrometers and do other related duties and responsibilities. |
