| Job Title: | Director of Institutional Effectiveness |
| Job Duties: | The Director of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for the function of institutional research/planning/effectiveness. Develops and manages resources and data to provide information and analyses for institutional planning and assessment at all levels. The Director exercises a high degree of responsibility, judgment and initiative in seeking/knowing appropriate information, policies and their relationship to internal and external practices. Produces accurate and timely data analyses to support institutional decision-making for the improvement and efficiency of the University’s operations. Duties and responsibilities as follows: 1. Develop, direct and coordinate, and execute ongoing institutional research, such as self-study, and the like. 2. Directs the Institutional Effectiveness functions by establishing and implementing short- and long-range institutional research goals, policies and operating procedures; supervision of support staff and budget resources; and conducting annual assessments of institutional research effectiveness. 3. Responds to high priority requests for information and analysis for the President, Vice President, and state, regional and federal agencies. 4. Provide staff support and analysis for College planning, budgeting, affirmative action, program review, and accreditation, accountability, and assessment processes. 5. Participates in the development of college policies and procedures through participation on standing committees and other assigned ad hoc work groups 6. Implements policy and review processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of institutional research data/information, its analysis and interpretation 7. Participate in operational, budgetary, facilities, and instructional planning, 8. Provide the President information required for institutional planning, policy formulation, and decision - making, 9. Coordinate and supervise long-range institutional planning, 10. Communicate information derived from the above activities to the College community and other governmental and accrediting agencies as appropriate, 11. Serve as the institutional liaison to the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and coordination of a College plan to ensure compliance with the Institutional Effectiveness criteria, 12. Responsible to the president for recommendations for development of long-range planning and evaluation of educational, financial and facilities development and to ensure institutional effectiveness, 13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Vice President or President. |

| Qualification Requirements: | 1. Masters degree with at least 3 years of leadership experience in a postsecondary education setting. Ability to write, speak and present information clearly and concisely; strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills; high proficiency with computer applications and statistical/report generation applications; demonstrated ability to lead and work in teams; and demonstrated ability to design and implement studies of varying complexity on institutional policy issues. 2. A sophisticated understanding of higher education policy issues at both national and state levels. 3. Demonstrated evidence of spiritual leadership and maturity. 4. Good physical and mental health. 5. Ability to maintain and carry out an effective discipline program. |
