Job Title: Quality Management Representative
Job Duties: SUMMARY Responsible for establishing, developing, applying, revising and implementing the quality management system, including quality policy, assessment of the QMS effectiveness, monitoring the overall QMS performance, and assuring that the QMS provides for awareness of customer requirements. Act as a focal point for any employee to report issues concerning the QMS and for coordinating action for changes and improvement. Responsible for the administration, liaison and coordination of human resources project. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Ensures that QMS processes are well defined, implemented and maintained. • Informs all employees on QMS performance and any needs for improvement. • Responsible for ensuring quality assurance and suggest improvements to management. • Responsible for conducting customer survey, computing data, summarizing results and preparing reports, charts, graphs depicting pertinent relationships using statistical methods. • Responsible for the annual requirements of employees including scheduling monthly training sessions, coordinating with the instructor for the training and tracking the training annually to ensure 100% attendance. • Promotes an awareness of customer requirements throughout the company. • Resolves quality system related issues. • Act as liaison with external parties such as customers or auditors on matters relating to QMS. • Facilitate internal audits. • Manages the internal audit program, direct and reviews quality audits and follow up on any action plans. • Represents the management during certification and surveillance audits. • Monitor all identified non-compliances in the quality management system and evaluates effectiveness of the preventive and corrective actions. • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel. • Rewrites job descriptions as necessary; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements. • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes. • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings. • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records. • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. • Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Qualification Requirements: POSITION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. • 6-8 years experience in the related field and exposure to implementing ISO (International Organization for Standardization) • Ability to establish and analyze organizational operating practices or procedures. • Capacity to produce and deliver quality results and ensure the effective use of resources. • Proficient with ISO 9001:2008 standards, International Safety Management Code and ISO EMS 14001. • ISO, ISM, ISO EMS 14001 Internal Auditor certified. • Strong interpersonal, coordination and communication skills and committed to excellence.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: In the absence of the Quality Management Representative and in conjunction with departmental Managers will coordinate to ensure smooth administrative support at all times. LANGUAGE SKILLS: • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. • Ability to write in accordance with the prescribed style and format. • Ability to effectively communicate and present information management, groups, customers and/or clients. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to compute rate, ratio, averages, and percent and to draw and interpret graphical and tabulated data. COMPUTER SKILLS: • Must be able to effectively operate MS Word, MS Excel, Ms Outlook, MS Visio. REASONING ABILITY: • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: • Able and willing to establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of ISO 9000:2008 (Quality) and its amendments. • Able and willing to establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Web development, publication and amendments. • Able and willing to establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Safety Procedures and related Federal Legislation. • Must possess good customer service skills.
