Job Title: Dietary Assistant/Food Preparation Worker
Job Duties: Supervise kitchen staffs in maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Supervise pre-packing meals for delivery in accordance to the HACCP guidelines and standard procedures. Supervise staffs with fruit preparation and pre-packing following HACCP guidelines and standard procedures. Supervise kitchen staffs that food, vegetables, fruits, dairy product (milk, cheese etc...), juice and any other food items are prepared, cooked, stored and pre-packed within proper temperature. Supervise staffs to ensure that delivery temperature are in compliance with BEH Health and Sanitation and HACCP guidelines and procedures. ensure that all kitchen equipment are scheduled daily, quarterly, semi-annually and annually for cleaning and maintenance. Ensure that thermometers are calibrated on a regular basis for accuracy and compliance. Supervise to ensure temperatures are taken during cooking, storing, pre-packing and delivery. Lead staff must be able to immediately take corrective action or actions for staffing and personnel issues and concerns after consulting with Food Service Manager.

Qualification Requirements: Must be a high school graduate, GED or NMTI. Must have at least year experience in food preparation and serving related occupations. Must have basic knowledge in Basic Food Safety Monitoring and Implementation and basic knowledge with food ingredients. Familiar with varies thermometers and basic knowledge with acceptable temperature for both hot and cold food items. Must have knowledge in the application of HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point). Must be physically fit and be able to carry at least 50 lbs. Be able to work under time pressure. Must be resourceful and have a good multi-tasking abilities and skills. Familiar with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
