| Job Duties: | Operate press machine to produce printed materials; Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects; Push buttons, turn handles or move controls and levers to start and control printing machines; Reposition printing plates, adjust pressure rolls or otherwise adjust machines to improve print quality, using knobs, handwheels, or handtools; Set and adjust speed, temperature, ink flow and positions and pressure tolerances of equipment; Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specification, colors and color sequence; Select and install printing plates, rollers, feed guides, gauges, dyes and cylinders in machine according to specification, as necessary; Operate equipment at slow speed to ensure proper ink coverage, alignment and registration; Load, position and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanism; Pour or spread ink, color compounds and other materials into reservoirs, throughs, hoppers or color holders of printing units, making measurements and adjustments to control color and viscosity. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High school diploma or certificate from related course; Minimum two or more years of work experience in press operation; Well-round in set-up and operation of various kinds of press machines; Ability to perform minor troubleshoot, adjustment and maintenance of the press machine; Ability to produce quality prints; Detail oriented, and understand specification to ensure adequacy to conform with job specification and job requirement; Must be prepared to work on a flexible work schedule; Reliable, Self-motivated; Can work with minimal supervision; Ability to work under deadline pressure; Self-transportation required. |
