| Job Title: | CATV Headend Bench Technician |
| Job Duties: | Duties: Performs regular maintenance, repair, testing alignment, alterations and adjustment on all Cable TV (“CATV’) headend electronic equipment by using various telecommunication test equipment and tools. Optimizes nodes for Arris CHP Max Headend Optic Platform Transmitter/Receiver and Cisco system. Assembles, aligns, repairs and maintains satellite dishes and configures satellite receivers/decoders parameters, and installs updated software. Performs RF signal alignment on analog and digital CATV systems at the headend on a regular basis. Performs regular proof of performance and other headend testing, documentation and reporting in accordance with FCC rules. Monitors and analyzes network downstream and upstream carriers on a regular basis and performs ingress mitigation, when necessary. Performs all task related to the hybrid cable, fiber coaxial system’s operation and maintenance. Repairs faulty equipment such as defective and damaged optical transmitter/receiver, AC and DC power supply, RF amplifiers, encoder, satellite decoder, modulator, demodulator and other associated equipment. Utilizes Arris CHP MAX Headend Optics Platform Receiver hardware, Arris CHP MAX Headend Optics Platform Transmitter hardware, Cisco Prisma Optics Platform Receiver, Cisco Prisma Optics Platform Transmitter and Cisco Local Craft Interface software in performing job duties. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma (may be foreign equivalent), two (2) years of experience as a CATV Headend/Bench Technician or Bench Technician, and six (6) months of experience using Arris CHP MAX Headend Optics Platform Receiver hardware, Arris CHP MAX Headend Optics Platform Transmitter hardware, Cisco Prisma Optics Platform Receiver, Cisco Prisma Optics Platform Transmitter and Cisco Local Craft Interface software. |
