| Job Duties: | Duties: Sells and markets company’s merchandise to retail stores and outlets. Contacts regular and prospective retail merchants to explain and promote the quality and competitive costing of the company’s products. Answers customers' questions about products, prices, availability and product uses. Displays and/or demonstrates products and recommends products that meet customers’ needs. Quotes prices, credit terms and delivery dates for purchase of company’s products. Prepares and signs order forms and sales contracts, and collects payments from customers. Arranges for and delivers products to customers and ensures that customers’ orders are properly filled. Contacts customers after sales of merchandise to resolve any problems and provide on-going support. Plans, assembles and stocks product displays in retail stores or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays and promotional programs. Assists Marketing Manager in identifying prospective customers, monitoring market conditions and monitoring competitors’ products and prices. |
