Job Title: Accountant
Job Duties: -Responsible for daily processing of cash receipts, accounts payable, billing and disbursements. -Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly. -Responsible for monthly billing functions including the processing of monthly billing cycle; assure timely and accurate billing; review monthly billing statements, and prepares billing adjustments. -Maintains daily cash position log. -Calculate and prepare checks for monthly expenditures and other payments. -Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. -Handles petty cash fund and prepares petty cash disbursement report. -Responsible for payroll functions including the processing of bi-weekly payroll and semi-monthly payroll. -Prepare, submit and remit fica contributions, withholding taxes, business gross revenue tax, and other reports to the government agencies. -Prepares annual payroll reconciliation and W-2 reports. -Prepares monthly bank reconciliation. -Utilizes computer programs specifically Microsoft office programs such as Word and Excel, and Peachtree. -Monitor status of loans and accounts to ensure that payments are up to date. -Compile approved proposals and monitor the progress of completion of each project for billing purposes. -Prepare financial report. -Design and implement internal control system. -Files all accounting related documents. -Prepare and submit all documents for hiring and renewal of employees. -Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: -Bachelor’s Degree in accounting -At least ten (10) years of accounting experience -Superior spreadsheets skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word -Must have PeachTree computer system experience -Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work -Strong analytical and problem solving skills -Must adhere to all company policies and procedure
