| Job Duties: | Analyze company computer needs and recommend possible upgrades for consideration. Plan and direct the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Ensure the security of the company network, firewall and electronic documents. Assess the costs and benefits of new projects and justify funding on projects. Learn about new technology and look for ways to upgrade company computer systems. Plan and direct the work of other IT professionals and contractors. Negotiate with MIS vendors to get the highest level of service for the company. Travel to electronic and computer/software trade shows. Managing Epicor (former Activant) Eagle server and POS system. Managing SCO unix / Linux server. Managing GKB Camera Security server (Linux and Windows). Managing NAS. Managing Sonicwall firewall. Managing Linksys, 3com network equipments. Managing Windows network. Managing GKB Security IP Camera system. Managing long range antenna data transmission. Managing CDK (ADP) Server / Client dealership system. Managing Logmein remote support system. Managing network printers. Supervision and having the discretion to hire and fore IT technical staff. Electronic inventory control. Internal auditing.
