| Job Duties: | 1. Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools. 2. Prepares layout, using rule, framing square, and calipers. 3. Shapes materials to prescribed measurements, using saws, chisels, and planes. 4. Assembles, cut and shape materials and fastens them together. 5. Verifies trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter’s level. 6. Erects framework for structures and lays subflooring. 7. Builds stairs and lay-outs and installs partitions and cabinet works. 8. Fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, such as locks, letter drops and kick plates. 9. Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete. 10. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. 11. Must be knowledgeable in the use of tools & equipments such as router, band saw, plainer, jig saw, table saw, saw sol, screw gun, electric drill, and other related tools and equipments. 12. Must be knowledgeable in lay-outing such stairs, doors & windows opening, and other related lay outs. 13. Must be knowledgeable in both rough and finishing carpentry 14. Must be knowledgeable in various ceiling works such as: acoustic & gypsum board ceiling. 15. Must be knowledgeable in drywall works 16. Other related functions as may be assigned. |
