| Job Duties: | 1. Directs activities of workers concerning electrical works in construction projects. 2. Studies specifications, plans or procedures for construction on basis of starting on completion times, staffing requirements on each phase of work. 3. Reads blue prints to determine locations of equipment and conformance to building and safety codes. 4. Tests continuity of circuits to ensure safety using ohmmeter. 5. May direct workers in boring holes in studs and running wirings. 6. May train new workers in electrical system installation procedures. 7. Orders procurement of related tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. 8. Do shop drawings/estimates of actual condition at site. 9. Do daily and weekly accomplishment reports and other reports necessary. 10. Monitor all electrical works that are included in the scope of works of a certain project. 11.Do communications with clients. 12. Must have knowledge of and implements safety measures at site. 13. Must have knowledge in load calculation/ design in accordance with NEC. 14. Inspects work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and schedules. 15. Prepares or receives from subordinates reports on progress, materials usage, and adjusts work schedules as necessary. 16. Other related job functions as may be assigned. |
